Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Inspection and Preparation: 
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for damage or defects and communicating the details to the technicians
  • Verify vehicle specifications against documentation
  • Prepare vehicles for sale by organising returns
  • Preparing V5 documentation 
  • Chasing outstanding documents 
  • Creating service histories
  • Advertise vehicles using appropriate channels.
  • Perform general office administration tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Merchandiser who has worked in a similar fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues from electrical to mechanical including the Engine, Gearbox, Brakes, Steering & suspension, and electrical issues. 
  • Perform routine maintenance Servicing & inspection and recording all work carried out on the vehicle accuratly
  • Diagnose issues using the latest Diag tools and software 
  • Communicate managers, other departments, and customers about vehicle issues and repairs recommended
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.  

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy recognising the importance of giving every car in our clients workshop the highest standard of care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
